Before - Tear Down? I don't think so!

It wasn't a tear down as far as we were concerned, but I'm telling ya, many had their doubts. While it was obvious it needed serious work (it sat empty for over a year prior to hitting the market), we instantly felt we wanted to give this house and the land it sat on a second chance. Little did we know, she needed much more than we initially thought.
This is how we found it:
Nothing a little paint couldn't fix, right?
No way we were tearing her down. Stone foundation, character and history... She stays. What would you do? Would you tear it down and start from scratch, subdivide the property into parcels to sell off , or renovate?!
