Historic Estate Survey Giclee - Thompson and Hayes Estates

Giclee prints of ER Blackwell recolored 1860s surveys of Manhattan estates on archival matte stock paper.  Finished print size 8x10, including the green ground with decorative border and will fit inside an 8x10 frame.  This specific Survey is of the Mrs. Geo Johnson estate and the Jacob Hayes Estates. 

Looks great on its own or in a grouping.  Each print sits somewhat differently upon the ground design as it keeps its original shape and form of the original work of art. The green ground gives the illusion of a decorative mat with decorative geometric border details and gives continuity to the unique prints as a group. (Watermark is not on delivered print).  Prints include any discoloration that appears on the original work, which gives an authentic / aged look to the print.  

Manhattan Estate surveys were originally done by ER Blackwell in the 1860s in black and white.  They were recolored by artists from the Index of American Design in the 1930s.
